1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
The declaration of a Christian’s Faith (Jesus Christ as Lord And Savior) releases unto us, eternal life– but to enjoy the earthly blessings of God requires you to know who you are. Most times, Christians all over the world subject themselves to a value less than that approved by God. As a chosen person, your supplies should come from the one that chose you. In this case, God chose you to be His ambassador. The same way you get paid by the firm you work for, is the same way God wants to reward you!
When you take your position as His priest (a believer, servant of God) using any gift God gave you to serve Him in the way He commands you, you become particular to him. Regardless what comes your way – sickness, famine, enemies, choices, trials, tribulations, etc, God in holiness will show up. He conquers for you! Romans 8:31 puts it this way, “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Are you a prince or princess living like a beggar? Are you a priest serving a dead god? Have you not realized that God called you for His praise? Do you have a value in yourself, or living in self pity? You need to surrender to Jesus Christ today!!
