Daily Devotional | Wait on God

Isaiah 40:31 KJV
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

What does it mean to wait on the Lord? Well, to me it means to observe the instructions, precepts or guidelines the Lord commanded and do them in his timing.

In today’s world, the media has socially infiltrated many traditions. Walls of goodness have collapsed. Family ties have been broken, marriage vows, gender orientation, morality, and so on have decayed! What happened?

“My people are perished for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6) If the people of God can trust Him, follow Him and wait for His instructions, many miracles will happen. We will experience spiritual restoration.  Are you expecting from the Lord? Did you receive a word from Him? Did He reveal to you something in a vision? Hold on to it and wait. While you wait, do what Jesus did, spread the gospel! Be encouraged. God is faithful.
