Daily Devotional: Are You Identified With God’s Word

1 Peter 2:9, 10 NKJV
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”
In today’s world, most people want to be identified by what their friends say. We have empowered every jargon on television, and lost who we are. God’s vision for us is to inherit the earth, to increase and multiply, to fill the earth and subdue it. We are identified by the word of God, and that is what matters.
Priests are empowered to bring sacrifices of the people to the Lord, then the people’s sins are forgiven. Are you a believer with unforgiveness in your life? Do you know, that alone has disqualified you from being the royal priest of the Lord?. You have to reconcile, forgive so that God will forgive and wipe away your own sins. Unless you have not sinned!!
Our God is a God that forgives, so you His priest should also forgive others. Can you forgive anyone that you are keeping malice with today? Are you identified with God’s word? Do you know that a little forgiveness to your offenders can revive and re-connect you to your God’s destined future? Take this week to make amends, make phone calls, check in with your friends and long forgotten family members. You might be the last person they are living for before they can make peace with God! Do not deny them that right.
When you do this, then make this prayer on yourself: (Speak it out aloud)
PRAYER:  “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:  “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The Lord bless you(me) and keep you(me);  The Lord make His face shine upon you(me), And be gracious to you(me);  The Lord lift up His countenance upon you(me), And give you(me) peace.”
Do this prayer for a week, and see a great miracle in you life, Revival and Restoration! When you do this, God said that you “… shall put My (God’s) name on the children of Israel (you), and I will bless them(you).” (Numbers 6:22-27 NKJV) Do not make this prayer if you did not forgive!!!
Scripture of the day: And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” ~ Mark 11:25 (ESV)
