Psalm 11:3, 4 NKJV
“If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do? The Lord is in His holy temple, The Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.”
“If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3 NKJV). Be mindful that the foundation for all existence, life and splendor is God, His Word and Jesus Christ (John 1:1-2). So, if God, His Word or Jesus is kept at bay, what do you think will happen?
We all can testify that the world has changed, quickly heading to the end!! Those things that were good have quickly turned evil; people, places, products, even food! Nations have lost credibility as politicians, dictators and cruel lobbyists hijacked the leadership. The media, with riotous programs, are busy inciting both adults and infants how to manage the world they did not create! More money is spent on monstrous scientific research, to the gain the bands of greedy investors, than to empower the natural production of life enhancing foods needed to eliminate famine, hunger, starvation, disease, and unexplained illnesses. Oil rich nations are presently living worse than those buying from them due to wickedness in higher places. There are many more examples to cite, but to spare you the time, I will encourage you to tune your television set and hear the rest for yourself. Things have fallen apart, even still falling at a sporadic speed. What happened?
Almost all the end time Bible prophesies are being fulfilled. For example, Jesus told His disciples a story regarding the signs that will reveal the end of the world. It is important you read with great analysis (compare with the news you hear everyday on radio, tv and prints): “And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:4-13 NKJV)
As a believer, Christ warned you to be careful so that the occurrences of the day will not deceive you. Deceit is the craftsmanship of Satan and his demons. I believe that Adolf Hitler, the evil man who killed millions of Jews claimed to be a Christian! The terrorist groups of today are destroying people and nations claiming that they are serving God! No, not God but their god satan, the murderer, killer and head of the wicked host in the heavenly realm. As a spirit, he uses people to fulfill his aims, which is doing evil, so…..? We have in past years seen more wars, innocent lives have been lost, and the resources that is needed to supply food are being used to kill those that need to live. Question: If by fighting and killing the warriors continues, who will they rule?
Through Moses, God gave the nation of Israel a commandment which summarized; “You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you. “You shall not murder. “You shall not commit adultery. “You shall not steal. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” (Exodus 20:3, 4, 7, 8, 12-17 NKJV). The reason for the laws was simply because, the Israelites rejected their God. This they revealed by asking for themselves a king. According to them, they want to be like other nations (1 Samuel 8). In verses 10 – 20, Samuel relayed to the people the consequences of rejecting God, but they refused to listen. That is the whole point. The pattern have not changed. All the laws have been broken, so the world started to deplete.
In the last six years or so, the richest nations of the world are struggling to sustain their economies and status…. Watch the news! With the natural disasters at its highest rate, rebuilding nations that refused God is literally impossible. The same goes to any human being that refuses the leadership of God in their life. Christians that do the same even have greater regrets. Paul wrote “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-9 NKJV). Many in the name of religion have missed the mark. Many camouflaged occults have launched into the mainstream Christian churches, teaching every other thing, but Christ. That is where the curses comes from.
It is interesting to see that what was meant for good has become evil due to choices. The garden of Eden was lost because man chose to listen to the woman instead of obeying God. Cain was cursed because he chose to dishonor God with his sacrifice, but killed his brother Abel that honored God. When Noah was preaching repentance in the desert, building the Ark that will save his family, people were laughing at him, until the flood came. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah chose their lifestyles in retrospect to heeding to God’s corrections. Prophet Jonah refused to go to Nianevah,..and many more, too many to mention. The summary is that all these people and places that missed the mark, God punished them. We are serving a faithful God, and He should not be taken for granted, ever. He changes not.. ( Malachi 3:6).
By your own evaluations, do you think that you are on the mark? Is there anything you know better than God? Are you serving any other god? Are you willing to allow God to adopt you back? Well, that is your decision to make. Jesus died for your freedom, and regardless what your shortfalls are, He alone have paid the debt for your sins. Do you know Him as Lord and Savior? He said: (“Jesus answered,) “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3 NKJV). Remember that the earth is the Lord’s (Psalm 24:1), so whenever God is not the center of our lives, things will surely go wrong. That is missing the mark!
SO here’s a SOLUTION: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV). The healing is to return to God, QED.
Scripture of the day: 26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— 27 the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; 28 the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known. ~ Deuteronomy 11:26-28 NIV
