Daily Devotional | Loving God All The Way

Matthew 22:37 (NKJV)
“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

Loving God all-The-Way is His desire. As was recorded (Genesis 1-2), God made all things to serve us all-the-way! God’s creation can not serve us if we do not serve God. (Hebrews 11:40)

Over time, the infiltrations of religion and false doctrines have gradually inched towards neutralizing the Word of God, but believe this or not, it is impossible that any word of God to be unfruitful! As it is spoken, so it shall occur.

History recorded many series about God: His powers, dominions, presence, grace, deliverance, et cetera, and all these are in His name.

In such an encounter, the people of Israel (of course the Jews ) were asked to declare their choice of god to serve by their leader Joshua; “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15 NKJV). Of course, they choose the living God as their God. They prospered and God loved them.

Evidence recorded that all the wars till today is not able to destroy Israel (The Jews) due to God’s love for them by covenant. Again, With the messianic covenant, both the Jews and the rest of the world must be born-again, accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Are you a born again? (John 3:3)

When we can love God all the way, we are simply making God to be God, and only a fool can deny or limit His power, presence and authority, seeing His creations; which men kill themselves for! Amen.

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I can vehemently testify the truism of the Holy Bible. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NKJV)

This does not mean that we do not have ups and downs as Christians, but it is amazing how all turmoil goes away as we faithfully, dutifully and constantly cast them to God in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Have you been in a situation which by your human intellect you are yet unable to figure your way out? Cast it to Jesus. (This includes any reader that is not yet a believer). How can this be? You may ask. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”. (John 3:16-18 NKJV).

Your decision today is what gives you victory or judgement. God has put all men to test through His son Jesus Christ. Anyone that loves God but rejects Jesus Christ does not know or love God, and is restricted from the unending lavish but free gifts of God, especially eternal life in Heaven, with Him. As an instruction and warning, we are equipped on all sides to know what our belief should bring us. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” (1 John 4:1-3 NKJV)

Religion is a man-made worship. On the contrary, Christianity is fellowship with God through Jesus Christ. Religion is of the flesh, but Christianity is of the Spirit. Religion can not please God, it was done with when Christ hung on the Cross for all man. “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnal minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be”. (Romans 8:5-7 NKJV).

This is a time for a sober reflection, but you alone have to think inwardly before you answer this. Do You Love God? Each time this question is asked, your loyalty is tested. Assuming you spent all your time, joy and money-raising up a child who ended up in jail for life, will you be hurt, disappointed and angry?  Then how would the all-powerful creator of all things feel about you ignoring His Saving Son He gave up to death so that you will have an absolute life of bliss and victory?

Religion denied Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Calvary Cross. It is a shame to believe such a brainwashed pathway. Do not get me wrong. They have something to offer, but many more to take from you. “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:36, 37 NKJV) Do you think that God does not know you? Who made you? Do you think He can not fix you? Who created the things you need?

Loving God without restrictions demands your all. This makes Him God and by doing so commands Him to absolutely unleash His benefits on you. As He blesses you, He also protects, perfects and multiplies. “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:28 NKJV). This has not changed, and then gladly we can say; “… If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 NKJV)

Loving God whole-heartedly commands; loving Christ, His gift to us, having Faith in him, total Obedience to His word, Loving others regardless of their social status, true repentance, staying in the truth and speaking the truth, worshipping only God (no idols Exodus 20:4), spreading the gospel, tithing and giving to the work of His ministry, and using your gifts to serve others.

1). Salvation (Proverbs 10:12) This gift covers all people, but you must believe in Jesus.

2). Revelations (1 Corinthians 2:9-10; Isaiah 64:4)

3). Renewal/Revival (Isaiah 65:17)

4). Blessings (Ezekiel 34:26). Showers of Blessings

6). Defense (Romans 8:31,33; Exodus 14:13-14,19-20)

7). Advocate (1 John 2:1)

8). Father (Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:6)

10). Healer (Psalms 103:2-3)

11). Delivers (Psalm 18:2)

Finally, I can only say that regardless your circumstance in life, God is the entirety of our existence. He will never let you down. He will be there for you during hard times. He will never give up on you, unless you chose to completely walk away from Him. He will completely forgive your sins, just ask him. Finally, He has prepared a fabulous place for your eternal life, Heaven.

Scripture of the day: Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” ~ Hebrews 13:5 NIV
